2006 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
May 7, 2006. This year saw more films in more venues than in
the past. One of the themes of the Festival was a celebration of
New York, and the screenings and other events stretched from
Tribeca through the East Village to 34th Street up to Lincoln
Center. The Tribeca Film Festival formed an affiliation with AMC
Loews Theaters, with screenings held at the AMC Loews
Lincoln Square, the AMCLoews 34th Street, and the AMC Loews
Village VII in addition to the main headquarters at the Tribeca
Cinemas, Pace University, the Tribeca Performing Arts Center
and the Regal Cinema Battery Park.
